2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide this website and to render our services. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation and performance of a contract), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
3. Provision of the website and server log files
When the website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects information (including IP address, date and time of access, page retrieved, browser type). This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.
4. Contact form and getting in touch
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (in particular practice name, name, email address, phone number, link to the relevant review and your message) solely to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The GDPR consent in the form relates to this processing. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Performing our services
To provide our service (objecting to unjustified reviews) we process the details you submit about the relevant review and practice. Where necessary for the objection, we transmit the information needed to identify the review to the respective review portal (e.g. Google, Jameda). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
6. Recipients and processors (Art. 28 GDPR)
To technically carry out the objection and deletion procedures, we engage a specialised service provider who acts as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR and exclusively on our instructions. A data processing agreement is in place; only the data required for the respective objection is transmitted. Data is not passed on to other third parties unless this is necessary to perform the contract or there is a legal obligation.
7. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as prescribed by statutory retention periods (e.g. under commercial and tax law).
8. Cookies and external content
The website operates with minimal, technically necessary cookies. Fonts and design elements are served locally from our server; no third-party tracking or analytics services that evaluate personal data for advertising purposes are used.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
10. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information responsible for us.
11. Data security
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of your data.
12. Updates and changes
We will adapt this privacy policy as soon as changes to the data processing or the legal situation make this necessary.
